From White to Ebony

Welcome to the three realms of the Blood, here at From White to Ebony. In this world, magic is power, and a person’s ability is based on the darkness of a colored jewel many are given at their Birthright Ceremony.
The land is ruled by Queens, witches who are considered the land's heart, and are the focal points of their societies. Each Queen stands as a ruler of her own court made up of her best friends and most loyal subjects. Queens rule their territories through respect, power, and reliability, following codes that were established long, long ago.
Not all Queens followed the age-old codes, though. Those who were Tainted by the power-hungry whims of the High Priestess Dorothea sought to destroy all that the Blood stood for, by killing innocents and waging a war against the neighboring realms. They are now gone, however, just recently destroyed by the very Witch they had sought to corrupt and call their own.
The three Realms coexist in peace once more. The question, though, is if this tentative peace will last, or if it is just the eye of yet another storm.

Only time will tell.

Also called the Keep and the Black Mountain, it exists in all three Realms and is the repository of all the Blood's long history, as well as a sanctuary for dark-jeweled Blood. The home of Witch, it is traditionally ruled by a Queen with Black Jewels.
